About MandoLessons

My name is Baron Collins-Hill and I started MandoLessons in 2008. When I started learning to play the mandolin in a small town in the year 2000, I turned to the internet for help. Through sites like Mandolin Cafe and YouTube I was able to piece together the information I needed to learn new tunes, techniques, and find answers to the questions I had. MandoLessons is my way of giving back to the community that I have learned so much from.

My YouTube video lessons will always be free and available to anyone who wants to learn. If you are in a situation that doesn’t allow you to support MandoLessons financially, no problem! If you are able to support the site, donations are greatly appreciated. I offer several ways for you to donate on the left hand side of the page.

MandoLessons is a participant in the Sweetwater Affiliate Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Sweetwater
